Corzine Taxes Online Music Sales

According to a report on ABC News Jon Corzine has passed a bill that will make digital music a taxable good in the state of NJ. No longer will that song from iTunes be just .99 cents but now $1.06. Also included in the bill are shipping and handling fees, landscaping, parking, and other items. This new legislation took effect on Oct. 1, 2006.
