As of February 7th 2008, the Conservative ballot now has only two viable candidates: John McCain and Mike Huckabee. However, because of the large gap between the delegates, McCain will be the victor.

I am very surprised that Romney would drop out first. He was in second place. However, I do agree with him that the faster people drop out the faster the party can rally behind McCain. Of course, some people may say that they do not like McCain. My response? Whos worse: McCain or Billary? Yeah, I thought so.
I was there when Romney dropped out. It was a shock, but also he didnt have enough delegates or momentum to beat Sen. McCain. Mike Huckabee is a social conservative, not a fiscal or national security conservative. Do not count out Congressman Ron Paul, he is still in the race.
