Wrap Up of County Republican Chair Races

Joshua Hursa| July 11, 2008 12:41 am

This past month marked the point of the year where the Republican and Democrat parties decide who to elect for their county chairmen.  County chairmen are elected by the county committee, which is comprised of two delegates from every election district in the state.  In every county party laws state that the two delegates must be comprised of one male and one female elected from the district they represent.  Most of these chairmen are largely overlooked for their importance; however, they wield much power.  The ability to deliver the line in the primary as well as match fundraising and institutional support for a candidate is vital for victory come November.  Below is the list of the Republican county chairs.  I wish our new chairman much success in the two years ahead.
